Chainsaw Carved Sitting Black Bear Looking Up – 15" Ponderosa Pine

This sitting black bear features an upward-looking pose that gives it a curious, friendly expression. It measures approximately 15 inches tall, 11 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. The upward angle makes it especially well suited for display below eye level, where the bear's face is easy to appreciate as you walk by.

Hand carved from heart-free Ponderosa Pine sourced and carved at our previous shop in Post Falls, Idaho. Heart-free wood excludes the center of the log, where deeper cracking most often begins, helping improve long-term stability. The bear is painted black and finished with three coats of oil-based spar urethane, making it suitable for indoor display or covered outdoor areas.

Handcrafted. Because each bear is individually hand carved, slight variations in size, shape, wood grain, color, and carving details are normal. In many cases, you may not notice any difference at all.
