Hand carved from heart-free Giant Sequoia Redwood reclaimed from local tree removals in Oregon. Heart-free wood excludes the center of the log, where deep cracking most often begins, helping provide better long-term stability. Finished with three coats of oil-based spar urethane, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor display.

Handcrafted in Oregon. Because each bear is individually hand carved, slight variations in size, shape, wood grain, color, and carving details are normal. In many cases, you may not notice any difference at all. We take great pride in our work and strive to make every carving match the photos as closely as possible while preserving the unique character of a handmade piece.
