This 15-inch bear features a low, natural stance with its head turned slightly to the left, giving it a curious, alert look. It measures approximately 15 inches long, 11 inches tall, and 9 inches wide.

Hand carved from heart-free Giant Sequoia Redwood reclaimed from local tree removals in Oregon. The bear is torch burned to create its rich black finish, then treated with Cabot Australian Timber Oil to enhance the wood grain and help protect it for indoor or outdoor display. Using heart-free wood helps reduce the likelihood of deep cracking over time by excluding the center of the log.

Handcrafted in Oregon. Because each bear is individually hand carved, slight variations in size, shape, wood grain, color, and carving details are normal. In many cases, you may not notice any difference at all.
