Chainsaw Carved Sitting Black Bear Looking Up – 15”

A sitting black bear with its head tilted upward, giving it a curious, friendly look. The carving measures about 15 inches tall, 11 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. The upward pose works well when placed on a lower surface, letting the face be seen clearly from above.

Carved from heart-free Western Red Cedar or Giant Sequoia Redwood reclaimed from local tree work. Heart-free wood avoids the dense center of the log where deeper cracking forms, helping the carving stay more stable as it dries. The bear is painted black before sealing and finished with spar urethane so it can be displayed indoors or outdoors.
