Hand carved from heart-free Giant Sequoia Redwood reclaimed from local tree removals in Oregon. Heart-free wood excludes the center of the log, where deep cracking most often begins, helping provide better long-term stability. Finished with three coats of oil-based spar urethane, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor display.
